    Polypropylene non woven geotextile is made from high strength polypropylene short fiber by non woven needle punchedmanufacturing process. It has separationfiltration, drainage, reinforcement, protectionand maintenance etc function.

     

    Product Features

    1. The special structure of polypropylene endows it with excellent acid and alkali resistance, especially better than polyester in alkali resistance. When used in underground engineering such as protection, reinforcement, waterproofing, and anti-seepage in soil with strong acidity and alkalinity, its effect is better than polyester.

    2. The surface friction coefficient of polypropylene fiber is small, the friction between fibers is small, and the wear resistance is good. The anti vibration friction performance is much better than that of polyester.

    3. Polypropylene has good hydrophobicity and does not absorb water, making it superior to polyester in water supply and drainage engineering applications.

    4. Polypropylene fiber needle punched geotextile has higher strength than polyester needle punched geotextile with the same weight, and the longitudinal and transverse strength are equal.

     

    Application

    Polypropylene spunbonded needle punched geotextile has superior physical properties and good chemical stability. Therefore, it is suitable for any rock, especially for acid-base environment. For example, projects such as highways, railways (high-speed rail), airports, seaports, landfill sites, tailings dams, fly ash landfills, ash dam ponds, artificial wetlands, river and lake management, reservoirs, canals, land reclamation, sewage treatment, etc.
