 A dewatering geotextile tube is a large tubular bag made of high-strength woven geotextile fabric from polypropylene (PP) or polyester (PET). By filling the tube with high-moisture slurry, the filtration performance of the fabric and internal pressure work together to rapidly expel water while effectively retaining solid particles inside the tube, thus achieving fast dewatering and volume reduction of the slurry. The treated solid residue has a greatly reduced moisture content, and its volume can be cut to one-third to one-half of the original slurry, making it easier for subsequent transportation, storage, or resource utilization.
